On 10 May 2025, the Gplex community came together for an evening of celebration, appreciation and inspiration at our 12th Anniversary Annual Award & Gala Dinner, held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. More than 1,000 team members and family members from across 30 branches nationwide joined us for this milestone event — a heartfelt tribute to the people who continue to shape our journey.

A Year of Record-Breaking Growth

In 2024, Gplex Realty achieved unprecedented success, surpassing our 50% growth target and setting new records across the board. Under the leadership of CEO Mr Ron Ong Siang Long, the company accomplished:

• Over RM4.3 billion in total sales
• 12,007 property units sold
• Branch expansion from 18 to 30 locations nationwide
• Welcoming 2,563 new team members into our growing Gplex family

Among the standout achievements was the company’s performance in the Johor Bahru market, which contributed more than RM2 billion in new property contracts. This accomplishment earned Gplex Realty the title of Best Property Agency in Johor at the 2024 StarProperty Awards, a clear reflection of the team’s dedication, market insight and client trust.

Strategic Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Gplex has set its sights on achieving RM6 billion in sales in 2025. The company also plans to operate 50 branches by 2026, supported by the Gplex Corporate University, which aims to nurture talent and provide team members with the tools and training needed to excel. This initiative is designed to build a workforce that upholds values such as professionalism, efficiency, proactivity and teamwork—qualities that have become central to the company’s culture and brand identity.

In his address, Mr Ron Ong stated, “These figures represent not just performance metrics, but the trust our clients place in us and the value created through our team’s persistent efforts.”

This philosophy continues to shape Gplex Realty’s direction, guiding every strategic decision with long-term impact in mind.

Expanding Our Horizons

GOOGOLPLEX Holdings GCEO Mr Christopher Liang Tian Kiat shared that the group has made encouraging progress in both property development and management. A large-scale joint venture apartment project with a reputable developer is currently under construction in Johor Bahru and is expected to be completed within two years. This initiative reflects a deeper commitment to regional development and long-term value creation for homeowners and investors alike.

Additional projects include:

1. 18 semi-detached homes and 17 terrace houses in Sungai Besar, launching in the second half of 2025
2. 22 terrace houses planned for development in Tanjung Malim in 2026

A Whimsical Celebration of Team Spirit

This year’s gala was themed “Fairy Tales”, creating a magical and inclusive atmosphere. Guests arrived dressed as characters from beloved stories, including princes, princesses, witches and hunters, bringing imagination and joy to the evening.

The awards ceremony honoured excellence and creativity, with categories such as:

• Outstanding Newcomer, Top Leader and Best Team
• A newly introduced Best Dressed Award, recognising those who embraced the evening’s theme with flair
• The prestigious Million Club Award, celebrating team leaders whose direct teams generated over RM1 million in revenue
